FRC:

THEORY6 Development team in partnership with FIRST Robotics Canada is working on creating a badge criteria based on Mechanical, Design, Electricals, Controls, Safety and Business Areas. A testing and certification environment will be created to recognize skills that will be recorded and tracked. The Design testing Pilot program was completed in partnership with Maple Ssoft in 2013-14. Students will be able to attain badges based on skillset and certifications they complete. Overtime, students will be able to collect a series of badges that will provide them with the opportunity to showcase their involvement with FIRST.

There is an overwhelming demand for "Mentor Badges" and we are looking to address this in our future plans. Stay tuned for more information on certifications, criteria and progress of FRC Badges and Mentor Badges.
